Channel Strips Presets

Agreed! I created an account on canny to be able to say this... saving a channel strip preset is a game changer- I often use a plugin host on my mac whilst jamming on guitar, bass, or keys.... and I'm able to combine different plugins and amp sims, dial in my tone, and then save the whole sound as a preset in the plugin host. then when Im recording in my DAW, I can just load in the plugin host, select my preset, and i'm ready to record with dialed tone.... Saving channel strips as presets would effectively allow us to do the same thing in LOOPY, which would make this incredible software even better. Thank you!!

I was thinking about the problem of presets & combined widgets and got to the idea of container presets including a widget area. Made a separate feature request because the ideas are different.

I’d like to pitch that feature one more time for input channels from a guitar player's perspective.
I used to have some pedals or guitar processors with presets. Instead, I could have presets for the input channel with a custom combination of Au3 plugins. It’s like super custom BIAS FX or Amplitube, but better.
Also, it’s necessary for the live performance. For example, I have a looping project for each song. But I changed my sound during the 1st song. Let’s say, cut the low freq. Now, I should do the same for each and every following song?
I suppose that’s one of the reasons why Dub FX use a separate device (Line6 Helix) for the input signal.

That would be super for input channels, color channels, bus channels and master channel as well!

Michael Tyson: Finally read, that this is planned. Phew. So important. I just like to point out, that being able to completely remove a channel/instrument from RAM and CPU, making it grey out and later able to recall it would be a GREAT inbetween-step in that direction, which would make nearly all my dreams come true, because of virtually limitless RAM and CPU…

Ah, this is different to effect chain presets and goes further in the direction that you could save your Instruments with effects, which would be sooooo important for me. I'm really stuck with my bigger and bigger projects where I have all instruments inside instead of recalling them when needed. This would make everything soooo much more simple!!!
For me definitively my No1 wish for Loopy Pro for creating a faster workflow and much smaller projects.

This one is definitely important!
